Portfolio Balances Endpoint with Layer 2 Support

We’re thrilled to introduce a brand-new addition to our blockchain offering: the api.amberdata.com/blockchains/addresses/{address}/portfolio endpoint. This powerful tool allows users to retrieve their account holdings across all Amberdata-supported blockchains in a single response, making it easier than ever to get a complete view of your assets quickly and efficiently.

Reorgs

To ensure the most reliable experience, the endpoint will initially lag behind the tip of each chain by approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. This safeguard helps prevent customers from encountering data that could shift due to blockchain reorgs. As we collect more data from the supported blockchains, we’ll gradually reduce this latency, delivering faster, more real-time data with each update.

Token Support

• For now, the Portfolio endpoint exclusively supports native and fungible token assets. But stay tuned—this is just the beginning! More asset types are on the horizon as we continue to enhance our offering.

Future Vision

We envision this endpoint becoming the central hub for our customers to gain a comprehensive view of their portfolio holdings. In the near future, we’ll be enhancing the endpoint to include even more capabilities, ensuring a truly holistic experience for all users. Here’s what’s coming soon:
